- How does the Luvion Babysense 7 work?

The complete set consists of two round sensor mats that can be placed under the mattress and a control unit. The sensor mats can be used in the crib as well as in the bed. The extremely sensitive sensor mats react to the breathing movement through the mattress, even when using special anti suffocation mattresses such as Aerosleep. As soon as no more movement is detected for more than 20 seconds or as soon as the number of breathing movements drops below 10 per minute, the alarm will go off and a red light will flicker. Thanks to the Babysense you will immediately warned if necessary. The operation is simple and very user-friendly. Due to the use of 1.5 Volt batteries, no power cables run through the bed.

Babysense 7 can be used in wooden cots and cribs. It is also confirmed that the Babysense can be placed under the mattresses of co-sleepers and prams (as long as they are not moving). It is very important that the wires and cords are placed away from reach of babies. For use in co-sleepers, the co-sleeper has to be detached from the parent's bed as it may interfere with the efficiency of the product (it might detect the parent's movement instead of the baby's).
